As the oldest university in the English-speaking world, Oxford University is well cemented in history. Teaching existed in some form at Oxford in some form in 1096. Study here and you know you’re at one of the best – always towards the top of university league tables – and with good reason. In the 2011 National Student Survey, 97% of students found their courses intellectually stimulating, 93% were satisfied with their course quality and 93% of leavers wereemployed six months after graduating.
